He took steps to submit this resignation yesterday when he signed the alliance agreement with the group including Mr. A. and Wimal Weerawansa.
Addressing his resignation to Mr. Dilith Jayaweera, he has written only one line.
That is, ‘I have resigned from the chairmanship of the party. “Congratulations to you” only.
