Prominent businessman Dhammika Perera has been reappointed as the Co-Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Hayleys PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading conglomerates.
The Chairman and CEO of Hayleys Group, Mr. Mohan Pandithage, officially notified the Colombo Stock Exchange of this development. The appointment takes effect from October 1.
Mr. Perera, who previously held the position of Co-Chairman and Non-Executive Director at Hayleys, resigned from these roles on June 10, 2022, to take up a seat in Parliament.
Hayleys PLC, a major diversified conglomerate in Sri Lanka, has Mr. Perera as its controlling shareholder. He holds 51.01% of the company’s share capital.
