Due to the failure of the Sri Lankan team in the final of the Asian Cup, discussions were held for the past three days to remove Dasun from the leadership and appoint a new captain.
An official of Sri Lanka Cricket said that after a long discussion, it was decided to keep Daswan as the captain.
