Darsha said that she decided to leave Sri Lanka in the background where the athletics authorities of the country did not take any work from her.
‘Indeed, we are athletes who have sacrificed a lot for the sport. But with our knowledge and ability, we cannot do anything for athletics in this country. So I decided to move to Australia permanently. I have no hope of coming back to Sri Lanka right now,’ added Darsha.
