Consumption habits, the gloomy prognosis for the future are the subjects of a new international report. A recent report of the World Food Program has revealed that 04 families out of every 10 families in Sri Lanka eat inadequate food.
The report has also indicated that this situation may worsen in the future.
The report attributer the daily escalating price of essentials, rising fuel prices, and scarcity , the gas shortage, income decrease, crash of SMEs are major reasons. Average house holds find it difficult to provide the essentials, and in a dire situation to find means to survive.
