According to the court order, Senaratne is to be released on a cash bail of Rs. 50,000 along with two sureties of Rs. 2 million each. The court also imposed a travel ban, prohibiting him from leaving the country.
The directive was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanka S. Bodaragama after taking into account the submissions made by officials of the Bribery Commission and the legal representatives of the suspect.
