Civil activist Asela Sampath emphasized that the focus of the “Clean Sri Lanka” initiative should not be on removing parts from three-wheelers and buses, but rather on cleaning the environment. He pointed out that this effort should begin with the Colombo National Hospital.
He highlighted the deplorable condition of the drain in front of the National Hospital, describing it as extremely filthy. According to Sampath, the rats inhabiting the area are even larger than the cats.
