Accordingly, the magistrate ruled that a crime had been committed through this incident and ordered the director of the Criminal Investigation Department to arrest the suspects involved and bring them to court.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Mrs. Rajindra Jayasuriya announced this verdict after considering the reports presented during the death investigation and the reports submitted by the five-member expert medical committee appointed by the court to investigate the matter.
According to the order given by the Magistrate to the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, it is stated that a crime will be revealed through this incident and accordingly steps should be taken to arrest the suspects involved and bring them to court.
