A gruesome discovery was made in the Huludagoda area of Mount Lavinia, where the body of a person who had been brutally assaulted with sharp weapons and subsequently set on fire was found in a vacant lot.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Kavinda Gayashan, also known as “Tikira,” a resident of Mahindarama Road, Ratmalana.
According to reports, the victim was a key figure in the drug network operated by the notorious underworld figure, Kudu Anju.
