Certain websites reported that Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa had been summoned before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption., These reports claimed that he was called in connection with an inquiry into a complaint that workers from the State Engineering Corporation were used for renovation work at the UNP headquarters “Sirikotha”.
However, sources close to the Opposition Leader confirmed that no such summons has been issued to him so far.
