Leader of the House, Bimal Ratnayake, has alleged that former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe protected those responsible for misconduct during the 2018 parliamentary unrest.
Ratnayake stated that despite a thorough observation of the events and the preparation of a detailed report on the incident, Wickremesinghe prevented the report from being presented.
