Be cautious. Rev. Father Jude Krishantha: There could be political motivations behind provocative racial statements made by some these days I Sri Lanka Latest News

Father Jude Krishantha said that there may be some politics behind the incitement to create a clash between religions by making statements harmful to religions.

This can manifest itself in a variety of ways. For example, someone may severely criticise his own religion, causing anger and discontent among those who follow the religion. Similarly, some may attempt to criticise and make harmful statements about other faiths, causing discontent among others and creating situations in which patience and contentment can slip and violent thoughts can take precedence. We must all guard our thoughts against such situations.

This could cause fear, mistrust, and suspicion among various communities; we must learn to guard our thoughts; this attempt could be stemed out by some sinister political motives. We have a very sad history of this happening in our country, and he urged everyone to be cautious and not fall victim to these agendas.

Therefore, he requested not to create unnecessary disturbances.
