Mrs. Julie Chang, the American Ambassador to Sri Lanka, has met with the Chairman of the Election Commission. Sri Lanka Latest News
That is to inquire about the upcoming elections in this country.

She has also inquired from the Election Commission regarding the problematic situations about elections.

The Chairman of the Election Commission Mr. R. M. L Ratnayake has said that he will conduct the upcoming elections according to the powers assigned to him by the constitution.

Meanwhile, in the last few days, the ambassadors of the European Commission, the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom and a group of people have also met with the members of the Election Commission and discussed the issues regarding the upcoming election process.
