SJB notes that the arbitrary and immoral appointment of 37 Deputy Ministers is deplorable. The executive committee of Samagi Jana Balavega, which met today (08), has unanimously passed a resolution expressing its objection to the appointment of a huge cabinet of ministers.

The announcement issued by the party is as follows.

Unanimous opposition of the Samagi Jana Balavegaya Working Committee on the maintenance of a very large cabinet!

At a time when the country is seriously bankrupt and the cost of living has skyrocketed, the government has arbitrarily and immorally appointed as many as 37 Deputy Ministers.

The Samagi People’s Force strongly believes that the country cannot bear this huge number of Ministers and Deputy Ministers at this moment and it will further push this country to the precipice. The implication is that the government is going the same old way.

Accordingly, the executive board of the Samagi Jana Balavega, which met today (08), unanimously passed its objection to the appointment of this huge ministerial board.
