Mr. Kanishka Lanarole, SJB constituency organiser, responded to an allegation made against opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa’s sister Mrs. Dulanjalee Premadasa by JVP leader Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Mr. Kanishka Lanerol responded to Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s claim that no one is talking honestly about how Ms. Dulanjalee Premadasa escaped by printing fake currency, saying that Ms. Premadasa was acquitted by the High Court in 2014.
The fake money was discovered among the funds given to Ms Dulangali by a businessman named Perera, and after an investigation by the police, this businessman was found guilty, and he was even ordered to pay 20 lakhs for the damage done to Mrs. Premadasa’s reputation.
As a result, Mr. Lanarole stated that Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s accusation of Ms. Premadasa is an affront to the court.
