President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Mr. Anura Karunathilaka as the Minister of Energy.
Accordingly, Mr. Karunathilaka was sworn in before the President as Minister of Energy at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (20).
In addition to assuming duties as Minister of Energy, he also continues to serve as the Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation.
Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, also attended the occasion.
