An order from the Court of Appeal to suspend Champika’s car accident case! Sri Lanka Latest News

The Court of Appeal has issued an interim injunction ordering the suspension of the proceedings before the Colombo High Court against former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, who was accused of reckless driving and causing a serious accident in the Rajagiriya area in 2016. Sri Lanka Latest News

The court order states that these interim orders will remain in effect until the hearing of the petition is over.

The order was given by the bench consisting of Mr. Justice Nishanka Bandula Karunaratne and Mr. Chamath Morayas, President of the Court of Appeal.

The court issued these orders allowing the hearing of a petition submitted by Mr. Patali Champika Ranawaka.
