In the latest development, the opposition has been informed about a forthcoming letter set to be presented to the speaker, containing numerous allegations against the opposition leader, Sajith Premadasa.

The letter reportedly outlines concerns about Premadasa’s continuous criticism of the privacy of high-ranking officials such as the President, Deputy Ministers, and Court Judges. Furthermore, it accuses him of frequently seeking the floor in Parliament and television time, while also allegedly making threats to fellow MPs.

Sources reveal that the opposition now possesses information regarding the senior official behind the letter, the head of the office who provided instructions, and the location where the letter was prepared.
