In the meeting of the Matara District Disaster Management Committee yesterday (07), it was previously decided to close all the schools in the Matara district on those two days.
Southern Provincial Education Ministry Secretary Ranjith Yapa has sent a letter to the Southern Provincial Education Director and Regional Education Directors today (08) informing that schools in both Galle and Matara districts have been closed on Monday and Tuesday.
