According to reports, all government parliamentarians and their wives are invited to a dinner party hosted by the government at the temple trees tonight at 7 p.m.
Earlier, instead of the traditional tea party held after the budget presentation, the president was supposed to host a dinner party at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo, but the media revealed that it had been cancelled at the last minute.
