Mr. Piyath Nikeshala, who was a front-line activist of the struggle who was attacked by the former Deputy Mayor of Kaduwela Pohottua, Mr. Chandika Abeyratne, joined a press conference for the first time today.
Nikeshala revealed all the facts that led to the attack in front of the media as follows.

The person who attacked me that evening is the same person who attacked Miya go gama last year, injuring many peaceful protesters. He should be imprisoned for the heinous crime he committed last year. He was clearly shown engaging in this violance on Sirasa TV last year.
