It is 19 years since the tsunami that struck Sri Lanka. To commemorate this unfortunate happening national and district level programmes are organized by the disaster management centre according to Mr Sudantha Ranasinghe the Director General of the centre.
Sudanta Ranasinghe, Director General of the Disaster Management Center says that many programs have been organized nationally and at the district level for the 19th anniversary of the tsunami in this country tomorrow (26). In conjunction with the celebration, all telephone companies will jointly introduce this special program for the people of 14 districts. Sri Lanka Latest News
Accordingly, the Director General of the Disaster Management Center said that from tomorrow (26) the opportunity to download this phone application (APP) will be given to the phones. The opportunity to participate has already been provided. The Director General of the Disaster Management Center says that tomorrow (26) between 10.00 am and 10.30 am, the relevant warning series will be issued as a rehearsal.
