This situation is the same in the south as well as in the north, it is evident from one particular incident that the newspaper has specially reported.

As reported by the newspaper, a doctor in Jaffna has decided to leave the house where he has been staying for a long time due to mob attacks.

It is said that after the owner of the house died, another party claimed the house and carried out these attacks.

Despite complaining to the police on several occasions, due to the failure of the police to control the situation, the concerned doctor has decided to leave the house after handing over the key of the house to the police.
