According to the Nedunkeni Police, a 21-year-old girl has lost her life in a shooting that took place at around 8.30 pm yesterday (18th) in Nedunkeni, Shivanagar area of Vavuniya.
The police said that a 21-year-old girl named Dureirajasingham Pramila, a resident of Nedunkeni, Shivanagar area, has been shot dead.
It has also been revealed that the shooting took place when the girl in question came out of the house for some purpose.
The girl was living at home with her father, and the police said that they have started investigations using several teams to find out the reason for the shooting and who did the shooting.
