It is reported that the reason for giving the Under-19 World Cup cricket tournament to be held in Sri Lanka to South Africa is the crisis situation in our country’s cricket administration. The opposition leader said that all 5 Cricket tournaments which were held in Sri Lanka were under interim committees.
Under-19 World Cup in 2000, 2002 Champions Cup, 2006 Under-19 World Cup, 2011 C. W. C and the 2012 World Cup T20 series were run under interim committees, so the Sports Minister should be questioned in this regard and legal action should be taken against the treasonous act that betrayed the country, said Mr Sajith Premadasa in Parliament today (22).
