Parliamentarian Dayasiri Jayasekara has expressed strong opposition to the decision by the Police Commission to dismiss former State Intelligence Service Chief Nilantha Jayawardena, calling the move unjust.

Speaking on the matter, the MP revealed that Nilantha Jayawardena had submitted more than 300 reports related to the Easter Sunday attacks. He further stated that intelligence information had also been communicated as early as January 9th, well before the attacks took place.

Additionally, MP Jayasekara claimed that senior government officials were alerted about the threat via WhatsApp messages.
