An official of the Ministry of Health’s Food Control Unit said that a group of Sri Lankan businessmen had imported the chili stock.
Meanwhile, the Food Control Unit of the Ministry of Health has introduced a special telephone number (0112112718) to inform the existing problems regarding the quality of food.
A consignment of maize containing aflatoxin was also re-exported before this.
