The 16-year-old student who was taken into custody by the police during the celebration of the heroes of the struggle yesterday (09) has been released.
The rest of the group is currently detained at Fort Police Station.
The People’s Struggle Heroes Celebration was held yesterday afternoon at Colombo Galle Face.
At the beginning of the celebration, which was organized by a group of members of the struggle, there were obstacles from the police.
A heated situation arose there, and later the concerned persons were taken into police custody.
