It is notable that four little girls were included among those deaths.
Three people including the father from the same family from Avissawella area and four with a girl, two young men from Deiendara area, two girls who are sisters from the same family from Jaffna Kites area, a girl from Aheliyagoda area, a young woman from Alapatha area, a man from Ayagama area, a garment shop worker from Kiriella area and a mother of three from Gampola area. They died in the last 48 hours due to calamities.
The same centre states that five people are missing and 20 people have been injured due to the accidents.
Due to these weather conditions, the people of 177 regional secretariat divisions of 20 districts are affected.
