Laapataa Ladies Sweeps Top Honours at 70th Filmfare Awards 2025

The 70th Filmfare Awards brought glitter and glory to the EKA Arena in Ahmedabad on 11 October 2025. Hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Maniesh Paul, the gala evening celebrated the best of Indian cinema from 2024.

Leading the charge, Laapataa Ladies emerged as the biggest winner of the night, taking home multiple awards across categories. The high-octane thriller Kill also earned recognition, while cinematic veterans Zeenat Aman and Shyam Benegal were honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards.

The ceremony highlighted not just acting excellence but also music, writing, direction, and technical brilliance, reflecting the creative diversity of Bollywood today.
