National Chamber Seminar: “Industrial Efficiency through Labor Laws”

“Do you work in management, human resources, or labour laws?” Do you want to learn something new or what the newest trends in labour relations are? Join the National Chamber for our industrial expert conference on “Promote Industrial Growth.”

Labor laws improve efficiency and productivity.”

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL), in collaboration with the Department of Labour, will hold a seminar on Promoting Industrial Efficiency and Productivity Through Laws on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium, Colombo 10. The seminar is intended to offer attendees with a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations that govern human resource management and labour relations in Sri Lanka.

Ms. G W Nirosha Viraji, Commissioner of Labour (Human Resource & Development), Mr. Vajira Ellepola, Director General /CEO of the Federation of Ceylon, Mr. W P Nimal Weerasinghe, Labour Officer of the Department of Labour, and Mr. P A S C Pathiraja, Assistant Commissioner of Labour, will be the resource persons.

The main points of discussion that would be covered during the seminar
Basic Labor Laws to Increase Institutional Productivity and Efficiency
Employee motivation and positive attitudes
New trends in industrial relations and human resource management in Sri Lanka.
Collaboration in the workplace and social dialogue
