DFCC Bank has announced its strategic partnership with David Peiris Renewable Energy to promote the adoption of solar energy solutions among individuals and businesses. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in addressing the growing demand for electricity through innovative and sustainable energy solutions.

Solar energy is no longer just an option; it is necessary for a brighter and greener future. As a renewable and environmentally friendly power source, solar energy has become critical for Sri Lanka’s energy security, helping reduce reliance on fossil fuels, lower electricity bills, and contribute to a sustainable future.

To make the transition to solar energy more accessible, DFCC Bank is offering a highly competitive fixed interest rate of 11.50% for five years, with an extended loan tenure of up to 10 years. This financing solution is designed to help customers install solar panels with minimal upfront costs, ensuring affordability and predictability in repayments while enabling long-term savings.

By supporting individuals and businesses in adopting solar technology, DFCC Bank empowers communities to embrace renewable energy solutions. This significantly reduces dependence on traditional energy sources and helps mitigate the challenges of rising electricity costs.

Aasiri Iddamalgoda, Senior Vice President – Retail Banking and SME at DFCC Bank, expressed “Our partnership with David Peiris Renewable Energy reflects DFCC Bank’s commitment to sustainability and community empowerment. By enabling affordable financing for solar energy solutions, we aim to drive positive environmental change while also helping individuals and businesses reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint.”

Meanwhile, Jayantha Ratnayake, Chairman, David Peiris Renewable Energy (Pvt) Ltd, said, “Collaborating with DFCC Bank allows us to provide greater accessibility to solar energy solutions across Sri Lanka. This partnership will help accelerate the country’s transition to renewable energy, empowering communities and businesses to adopt sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and their bottom line.”

The partnership between DFCC Bank and David Peiris Renewable Energy underscores their shared commitment to sustainable practices and community empowerment. David Peiris Renewable Energy will also highlight the initiative through its social media platforms, amplifying the impact of this collaboration.
