Opposition Holds Discussion on Impact of Rising US Dollar and Falling Rupee on Economy

A special discussion on the impact on the economy due to the continuous rise of the US dollar and the depreciation of the Sri Lankan rupee against it was held today between opposition parties and other stakeholders, under the chairmanship of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa.

It was noteworthy that representatives from not only political parties in the South, but also Members of Parliament representing all parties from the North and East, participated in this discussion, which was held at the Office of the Opposition Leader.
