Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa announced in Parliament a short while ago that an emergency discussion will be held this afternoon (21) between opposition parties and other stakeholders regarding the economic impact caused by the continued rise of the US dollar and the depreciation of the Sri Lankan rupee.
He further emphasized that the discussion will include representatives from the political establishment, including opposition party leaders, as well as stakeholders from sectors that may be affected by these economic fluctuations.
