According to the claim, the attack targeted Major General Tomer Bar, who is described as the mastermind behind Operation Roaring Lion against Iran.
Pro-Iranian media outlets have reported that he was killed either in a missile strike or during a special operation aimed at a secret Israeli military facility or air base.
However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Israeli government have not yet issued any official statement confirming or denying the claim. Reports indicate that Tomer Bar attended a security meeting chaired by Prime Minister Netanyahu on the night of February 28. There are also suspicions that Iran’s announcement may be part of psychological warfare.
It is widely known that Tomer Bar has been considered a prime target for Iran, as he was the officer who directly led operations to assassinate Iran’s nuclear center officials and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
