A police constable from Ratnapura, who lost his position due to an incident involving MP Malima, will be reinstated to service, it was announced.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police made this assurance before the Human Rights Commission. He further stated that the constable’s outstanding salary arrears will be paid following the completion of the relevant investigation.
