The Court of Appeal has granted permission to hear the writ petition filed by Prabath Malavige, seeking to quash the decision of the Minister in charge to remove him from his position as Managing Director of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Sri Lanka Latest News reports.
The court, which is considering the petition challenging the removal, has also taken steps to issue notices to the individuals named as respondents in the petition.
