Sri Lanka has received a significant boost to its ongoing relief operations, with the Maldives’ Sun Siyam Group contributing USD 200,000 in support of those affected by the recent disaster.
Founder Ahmed Siyam Mohamed personally handed over USD 75,000 to Sri Lankan High Commissioner Mohamed Rizvi Hassen in Malé on Sunday, assuring that the remaining amount will be released shortly.
The contribution positions Sun Siyam Group as one of the key Maldivian supporters of Sri Lanka during this challenging period, reflecting the close friendship and regional solidarity between the two nations.
Sri Lankan authorities expressed deep gratitude for the timely assistance as relief efforts continue across the country.
