The recent earthquakes that struck Myanmar and Thailand have resulted in significant loss of life and widespread destruction of property. In response to this tragic event, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa visited the embassies of Myanmar and Thailand in Colombo today to extend his condolences and express solidarity with the affected nations.
During his visit, Premadasa met with the ambassadors of both countries in Sri Lanka, offering his heartfelt sympathies. He assured them that Sri Lanka stands in support of Myanmar and Thailand and pledged to provide the maximum possible assistance in the wake of this disaster.
