A shooting incident was reported a short while ago in the Mahawatta area of Meetiyagoda.
According to initial reports, three individuals arrived at the scene in a three-wheeler, opened fire, and fled immediately afterward.
Two individuals injured in the incident have been admitted to Balapitiya Hospital for treatment.
