Udayanga Weerathunga, a relative of the Rajapaksa family, announced plans to attract Russian tourists this season, with projections of generating an estimated $100 million in revenue. He shared that arrangements for 160 flights are already in place to support this initiative.
Weerathunga also clarified that despite recent unrest in the Arugam Bay area, no scheduled flights have been canceled.
