Mr. Ranjan Ramanayake has formally appealed to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, seeking a reduction in the suspension of his citizenship rights from seven years to two.
In a letter dated October 10th, Mr. Ranjan Ramanayake expressed that if his request is granted, he would be eligible to contest in the upcoming general election.
