The media unit of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa has released a statement addressing recent information from the Government Information Department regarding the use of official vehicles allocated for his security.
The statement clarifies that the reported details about the vehicles supposedly under Mr. Rajapaksa’s custody are inaccurate.
However, the media unit confirms that, in line with written directives from the Presidential Secretariat, three out of the six vehicles assigned for Mr. Rajapaksa’s security will be handed over on Monday, the 21st.
