The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has disconnected the three-phase electricity supply to the Weeraketiya Carlton residence of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Earlier today, a team of CEB employees dismantled the electrical wiring systems at the property.
According to the CEB, this action was taken as part of their policy to revoke facilities provided under parliamentary privileges.
