A car (CBO 1977) and its 20-year-old boy owner were kidnapped on Handala Wattala road.
His elder brother of the kidnapped youth mentioned that a 20-year-old youth has been kidnapped.
It is said that this kidnapping was done to get a ransom of 53 lakhs and later the father of the young man took steps to give the ransom money.
Accordingly, two people were arrested when the young man was brought in a three-wheeler and dropped off, and then the police took steps to arrest several others during the incident of depositing money in the bank.
