Another incident of suppression of freedom of expression by POLICE
The Police objected to the kite flyers today who had gathered at the Galle face to enjoy their holiday.
It is customary for Sri Lankan to fly kites and enjoy windy days.
These kites had various anti-suppression slogans and people used them as a mode of expressing their views and moods.
Having observed this police intervene and objected to which people protested vehemently.
