Caste-based politics is the reason for the decline of the country
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa investigates the history of caste-based elite politics in Sri Lanka, tracing its roots to S. W. R. D.Bandaranaike era and Its extension and continued spread in the present. He also introduced this as the primary reason for the country’s political decline.

Digitization is the best way to increase efficiency
The opposition leader also outlined the plans of Samagi Jana Balawega to modernize free education and improve the health service of the welfare state. He informed the audience about a national poverty alleviation program, reforms to reduce brain drain and constitutional amendment tasks to eradicate corruption. He also emphasized the potential of digitization to improve efficiency.
Our policy is social democratic policy
Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, made a remarkable statement that his or his party’s policies are not neoliberal policies but social democratic policies. He said that it is possible to generate wealth through capitalism while recognizing the beneficial aspects of socialism. Also, through this balanced approach, he emphasized the social democratic position of the United People’s Force, which is moving away from extreme right-wing or left-wing ideologies.
There are nearly 6000 doctors, professors and lecturers in the country’s university system, of which nearly 1500 have already left the country due to various reasons. About 1500 out of 4500 other university doctors, professors and lecturers joined this Samagi Jana Balawega Buddhi Mandapam.
