Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, said that he is ready to negotiate with the President again for the sake of building the country through a good reform process.
The opposition leader, who said that his aim is to build the country by intervening in practice instead of taking bounties, said that he will create a program that supports the positive and progressive proposals brought by the government, and will never betray the people’s wishes.
The opposition leader said that he would never be willing to destroy the dollars that are getting ministerial positions and said that positions are not needed to build the country which has collapsed in every field at the moment.
A special meeting of the Scholars Union for Reforms was held today (19) at the office of the opposition leader in Colombo and there was a long discussion about the program for building the country from the existing situation.
