Its coordinator Mr. Chandana Suriyarachchi said that the protest movement is being implemented by forcing the government to give a salary increase or allowance of at least 20,000 for public servants.
Mr. Chandana Suriyaarachchi said that he also opposes the proposal made in the budget to take 8% of the government employee’s salary for widow and orphan pensions.
