Mirigama police have started investigations to arrest a suspect who cut the throat of a school student who was going to attend a tuition class and stole his bag. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
It was reported that a student residing in Giriulla has faced this unfortunate incident.
The student, who had arrived at the Mirigama bus station by bus, was attacked along with another student along the railway line towards Wilwatta today (06).
It is reported that the injured student was admitted to the Mirigama Hospital and his condition was serious, so he was transferred to the Colombo National Hospital.
Meanwhile, the police said that the bag stolen from the student was found left in a bush.
